We often compare installing Valiryo to hanging a mirror with built-in lighting in your bathroom. The process is straightforward: you fix the unit to the wall and connect it to the household power supply.
The main difference is that, in most homes, there isn’t usually a power point inside the shower area. This is precisely the space where we recommend installing Valiryo whenever possible, as it provides the best body-drying experience. Until Valiryo was developed, there was simply no need to install electrical devices in wet bathroom areas, which is why the electrical connection can sometimes be the only extra step to consider. If Valiryo is installed outside the shower area, it can be connected just like any other household appliance.
Adding an electrical device inside the shower might seem unusual at first, but this is entirely normal and depends on the protection rating of the product. In this case, Valiryo features an IP56 protection rating, which certifies that it is safe to use even under direct water impact.
A simple installation, no renovation required
Installing Valiryo is a simple process and does not require renovating your bathroom. There’s no need to wait for a future remodel to enjoy all the benefits of body drying with Valiryo. Whenever you decide to install it, all that’s needed is to bring the electrical wiring to the chosen connection point. Once that is prepared, mounting the unit is quick and straightforward. Thanks to its simple design, the installation can even be carried out by the user, although professional installation is always recommended for the electrical connection.
How to install Valiryo Body Dryer
You’ll find the complete installation process explained step by step in the user manual included inside the box. In addition, the following video shows how Valiryo is installed inside the shower area, including the correct positioning of the unit. Please note that the electrical connection process is explained in separate post, as it varies depending on the country where you live. Valiryo must always be connected to 220–240V, and the connection requirements may differ internationally.
To make installation easier, a mounting template is included in the box. This template helps you mark the exact drilling points on the wall. As a general recommendation, Valiryo is installed 10 cm from the floor, although this distance can be adjusted to better suit your space and personal needs.
It’s also important not to install the unit too close to side walls. You should leave enough space on both sides of the column so the user can comfortably stand in front of it and turn around during the drying process.
Choosing the right column height
Worried about space? If you don't have enough room to install our 218 cm column, don't worry—we have a solution! Our shorter column fits spaces with a minimum height of 197 cm. Just remember, it’s essential to leave at least a 2 cm gap above the unit and to adjust it well to the height of the person within the available space.
Here’s a quick guide to choosing the right Valiryo column:
- Choose the right spot: Ideally, place Valiryo within the shower space for a complete and satisfying experience with the product.
- Measure your available height:
- If you have 220 cm (86.6 in) or more in height, we recommend choosing the Valiryo 218.
- If your space has less than 219 cm, you should opt for the Valiryo 195, as the larger model won't fit.
- If you have less than 197 cm of height, contact us to find an alternative solution for your situation.

What’s included and installation tips
The Valiryo column is very lightweight, weighing only 9.8 kg. However, due to its size and volume, we recommend installing it with two people.
All the necessary installation materials are included inside the box. Before starting the installation, we strongly recommend checking the contents of the packaging to make sure all components are present.
