Our body dryer comes in two sizes: standard at 218 cm (85.83 in) and a shorter version at 195 cm (76.77 in) for spaces under 220 cm (86.6 in) in height. Choose the longer unit if you have enough height and follow these installation tips:
- Valiryo 218: It is recommended to install Valiryo 10 cm above the floor if you have the sufficient height: 230 cm (90.5 in). If you do not have enough space, disregard this recommendation and adjust the length of Valiryo to fit the available space.
- Valiryo 195: In the case of the short column, which is installed in spaces lower than 220 cm in height, the recommendation is to always install Valiryo 2 cm below the ceiling so that it is positioned as high as possible.

Valiryo was designed to be used in water environments, which is why we aimed for the highest water ingress protection rating for a body dryer: IP56. Therefore, our recommendation is to install it whenever possible inside the shower. This location provides the optimal user experience as we create an ideal atmosphere in terms of both heat and skin hydration. Valiryo draws air from its surroundings to blow it over us during the drying process. Additionally, drying in the same space where we shower enhances safety by reducing slip hazards from water and improves bathroom cleanliness.
Of course, Valiryo can also be installed in other areas of the bathroom, combined with bathtubs or other elements like saunas, jacuzzis, or steam showers, depending on your intended use. This flexibility allows for creating specific drying zones in sports facilities or residences. Beauty and tanning centers also use Valiryo to dry their clients after treatments, and it's found in pools for drying users after swimming. - Can Valiryo be installed in any type of shower?
Valiryo has been designed to adapt to any shower type, regardless of size, thanks to its ultra-slim design that protrudes only 4 centimeters, preserving space and ensuring user comfort. Valiryo's "S" shape ensures that the wider part of the casing protrudes only at the top of the body dryer, minimizing space loss.
Furthermore, we offer two column lengths to accommodate different shower heights. For heights exceeding 220 cm (86.6 in), the long column (Valiryo 218) is suitable, while Valiryo 195 is recommended for heights greater than 197 cm (77.56 in). - What are the necessary measurements for installing Valiryo?
As mentioned earlier, the critical factor is the available height at the installation site. If your space has a height of less than 197 cm (77.56 in), neither of our current columns will fit. In such cases, please contact us, as we can customize the column length to fit your requirements. Alternatively, you can send us photos of your bathroom for assistance in exploring alternative installation locations.
If your room's height falls within the range of 197 cm (77.56 in) to 219 cm (86.22 in), Valiryo 195 is the recommended choice, as the longer column won't be suitable. For a height of 220 cm (86.6 in) or more, the extended Valiryo 218 cm column can be utilized, adjusted as per the available space (refer to the installation instructions) while maintaining a specific distance from the floor.
- Are there any limitations or compatibility issues for installing Valiryo?
In principle, there are none. Valiryo can be installed both indoors and outdoors where ambient temperatures typically range between 10°C (283.15 K) and 40°C (313.15 K). It is recommended to avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure, especially on the top where the motor and other components are located, if installed outdoors. It is advised to place some kind of element that prevents it from receiving direct sunlight.
- How Does Valiryo Body Dryer Arrive at Your Home?
Valiryo comes in two boxes (one with the column and the other with the casing) and includes everything necessary for installation: screws, anchors, and a template to help you drill the holes in the correct places. It is advisable to inspect the product as soon as you receive it to ensure it has not been damaged during transport and that it includes all the necessary components.
- At What Height Should I Install Valiryo?
This depends on the length of the column chosen according to the available installation height: Valiryo 218 or Valiryo 195. We recommend purchasing the long model (218) if you have 220 cm (86.6 in) or more of available height, and Valiryo 195 for heights between 197 cm (77.56 in) and 219 cm (86.22 in). Based on this, our recommendation is as follows:
- Valiryo 218: If possible, install the column 10 cm (3.94 in) from the floor to leave space for your feet at the lower diffusers. The template included in the box helps you calculate this distance easily. However, you need at least 230 cm (90.55 in) of height for installation: the distance from the floor plus the 218 cm (85.83 in) height of the body dryer and an extra 2 cm (0.79 in) to fit and connect the casing to the column. If you have less than 230 cm (90.55 in) of height, do not follow our advice to leave 10 cm (3.94 in) from the floor. Reduce this distance as needed, making sure to leave 2 cm (0.79 in) at the top to fit the casing. Even with 220 cm (86.6 in), we recommend installing the longer column, even if it means placing it flush with the floor. The shorter column is only for heights less than 220 cm (86.6 in). - Valiryo 195: We recommend installing this model with the minimum distance: 2 cm (0.79 in) from the ceiling, just enough to perform the installation. This ensures the maximum drying height, preventing inconvenience for people of different heights. This way, the column could be installed up to 22 cm (8.66 in) from the floor as the maximum measure since the short unit should be installed if the height is between 197 cm (77.56 in) and 219 cm (86.22 in).
- How Is Valiryo Body Dryer Installed?
Installing Valiryo is simple and does not require any renovation to start enjoying its benefits. If you are not installing it inside the shower, you can simply plug it in like any other appliance if your domestic network operates at 220-240V.
- In Which Countries Can I Connect Valiryo Directly to the Electrical Network?
As we have seen, our body dryer requires a 220-240V network for installation, as a lower voltage would not provide enough power for it to operate at maximum capacity. Most countries worldwide have electrical networks of this voltage, including: most European countries (including Spain, France, Germany, Italy, etc.), the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, China, India, South Africa, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Therefore, in all these countries, Valiryo can be plugged directly into the network like any other appliance and function normally.
This applies if we place the body dryer outside the shower. However, if we install Valiryo (as we recommend) inside the shower, a permanent connection is required, as explained below, to ensure the cable is properly protected. This type of connection can also be done in countries with 110-120V networks, as they are also equipped to connect high-power appliances like refrigerators, ovens, washers, etc..
- How Should I Install Valiryo If I Live in a Country with 110-120V Networks?
Installing the Valiryo Body Dryer is not a problem in countries with 110-120V networks. We recommend it if you plan to install it inside the shower area. Due to the novelty of our product, it is not common to have a power outlet in the shower space.
